Connect Events

In January, our membership gathers to attend our annual church meeting.  This is open to members only and we celebrate our successes from the previous year, elect Elders to serve for a 3-year term and cast vision for the future.

In February, the Youth hold their annual Super Bowl party with lots of food, fellowship and fun!

On Shrove Tuesday, which can fall on a Tuesday in February or March, we hold a pancake supper where we eat pancakes and prepare for the Lenten season which begins the following day on Ash Wednesday.

About a week or so before Easter (in March or April), we hold a palm cross-making party and enjoy fellowship and a light supper with one another.  It is a tradition that many enjoy!

In May or June, we gather as a church family to enjoy a Diamondbacks baseball game.  Whether they win or lose, we always have fun at the ballpark!

In June or July, many of us head up to the cooler area of Arizona for a church campout.  We always have lots of fun and s'mores when we are there!

In December, we sponsor a holiday boutique where many of our local artisans are able to display and sell their handiworks.  We also have a breakfast on the morning of Christmas Eve, where, after the food has been consumed, we work on building luminarias that will be located throughout our church property and lit for the evening services to help light the way for Jesus's birth.  On December 31, the youth hold a New Year's Eve lock-in where they celebrate and party to welcome in the new year!

Throughout the year, we also hold events on non-specific dates, which include:

  • New Beginnings:  our membership class where you can learn more about Anglicanism and Living Faith in preparation to becoming members of the church.  Typically, this class is taught in the spring, summer, fall and winter.
  • On the 5th Sundays of every month in the year, we celebrate with a family-friendly service and Family Fun Day!  This event has become a favorite of our church family as we gather after services and have a barbeque, play games, or if the weather permits, have fun on bouncers or water slides.
