Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is given as a deposit of our full inheritance in the Kingdom of God when we are adopted by our Lord at the time we confess Him as Savior and Lord. The fullest evidence of the Holy Spirit is given in the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The gifts of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6-8; 1Corinthians 12:27-30) are the possession of the Lord, not the possession of the person to whom the gifts are given. Their purpose is for the completion of His ministry in the world and are released for God's sake and His use through our prayer and a consciously submitted will.
