Our Vision
At Living Faith, God is building a missional community by:
- The application of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20 focuses us on and produces greater missionality. "Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'”
- The Great Commandment as spoken in Luke 10:25-28 focuses us on and produces greater communality. "On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. 'Teacher,' he asked, 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?' 'What is written in the Law?' he replied. 'How do you read it?' He answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor has yourself.' 'You have answered correctly,' Jesus replied. 'Do this and you will live.'"
Great Commission and Great Commandment churches produce everyday missionaries. Everyday missionaries will effectively produce new missional communities that in turn produce more everyday missionaries.
