Sally Worthington
Sally is the Ministry Director for Fellowship which covers prayer, pastoral care and share. Many members are involved in prayer and there are two prayer types: e-mail and telephone which are staffed by very faithful volunteers. In addition, we also have an e-mail prayer list included in the weekly churchwide e-mail and a healing prayer group meets monthly. In pastoral care we are visiting our members in hospitals, nursing homes and in their homes and provide a meal for those who are in crisis and unable to cook for themselves. Share includes small groups such as the Prayer Shawl Ministry, our Christmas Boutique, and Women's Ministry events and retreats. We add and subtract new craft-type groups as the needs change. For those who need help with addictions, co-dependency, hurts and disappointments with life, men and women meet using Celebrate Recovery material. Fellowship Ministry allows Sally to be in relationship with wonderful people and she is able to give back the love God has shown her in her own life. She loves to knit for her children and grandchildren, sew, read and meditate daily.
