Missions Events

At Living Faith, we have many opportunities to serve our community, our city, our state and the world.  Some of these opportunities include:

  • ALPHA is coming to Living Faith!  Please register using this link http://x.co/ctAP or call the church office for more information at 480-831-2514.  The sessions begin on Monday, February 20 and conclude on Monday, April 30 and take place at the Gathering Place, located on the southeast corner of Dobson and Guadalupe Roads.
  • The neighborhood Fourth of July Parade begins from the parking lot of Living Faith and winds through the Camelot Village subdivision, ending up at Stroud Park.  We help to furnish snow cones and popcorn while we celebrate a Festive Fourth with our community!
  • Our Youth Missions Trip usually takes place around the Fourth of July weekend and we alternate yearly by working in our own community and traveling to another part of the country to help a disadvantaged area.
  • In October, the Daughters of the Holy Cross sponsor a Pet Blessing in our neighboring Stroud Park.  Last year, we blessed dogs, cats and even a pot-bellied pig!
  • Our Pumpkin Patch begins around the middle of October and continues until October 31.  You are welcome to buy pumpkins of all sizes to complete your own Halloween display!
  • Several times a year, the members of Living Faith come together to clean up our church property and make it a pleasing place for worship.  All are welcome to help trim shrubery, rake granite, pull weeds and otherwise help to spruce up our church home!
  • Living Faith sponsors a church-wide yard or parking lot sale several times a year. 
  • Our Habitat for Humanity build days are always a popular event as we help a disadvantaged family learn the joy and responsibility of home ownership.  Our build days are usually scheduled in the spring and fall.
  • On the third Saturday of each month, several members of our church family work with the children of Guadalupe in a program that is known as Los Ninos.  The children gather at a local church and have a nutritious meal while learning that Jesus loves them!
