The Difference We Make
A missional community with Jesus at its center is at work daily in the neighborhoods and community environments where people live, work, shop and play. Increasingly, people are finding the answers to their spiritual questions without benefit of the church because of the perception that the church does not actually care about what people in the community are experiencing. Living Faith works to mobilize its members according to God-given gifts and interests to build relationships with people who do not view themselves as Christians and others who have given up on church. We reach out in a variety of ways programmatically and each of these efforts is designed to serve a basic community need that may be lacking in an area of our city. We also live our lives with an intentional commitment to extend the kind of hospitality that demonstrates the love of Jesus whenever and wherever we meet. Our hope is that the person who seeks a better life might see Jesus with skin on when we go about doing what we do.
